This week in the world of cybersecurity:

A massive wave of fake cracked software was identified to be the source behind the spread of both Raccoon and Vidar Stealers. The CISA raised concerns, alerting the community about notable flaws in Industrial Control Systems from leading manufacturers, while also flagging vulnerabilities in Siemens, GE Digital, and Contec systems. New threats were unearthed as a backdoor, reminiscent of the previously leaked CIA’s Hive malware, was found operating in the wild. On the cloud front, Microsoft Azure Services showcased vulnerabilities that might have rendered cloud assets open to unapproved access. Developers also need to watch their steps; recent findings pinpointed 3 PyPI packages spreading harmful software directly to their systems.
