The Samsung Galaxy Store App has been discovered to be vulnerable, potentially leading to sly app installations and fraudulent activities. Threat actors are now increasingly leaning towards Sliver, viewing it as an open-source counterpart to the well-known C2 frameworks. A significant ad fraud scheme was unearthed, which affected a staggering number of over 11 million devices, leveraging around 1,700 phony apps. On the international front, the FBI pointed the finger at North Korean operatives for the theft of $100 million from Horizon Bridge Crypto. Lastly, with malware continually evolving, Emotet is back in action, boasting new strategies to dodge detection.
