This week in the world of cybersecurity:

Notably, GuLoader Malware has been discovered targeting the e-commerce sector using malicious NSIS executables. Meanwhile, Microsoft has identified an Iranian Nation-State Group, which has been sanctioned by the U.S., as the force behind the Charlie Hebdo hack. The encrypted messaging app Exclu, which has found favor among criminal groups, has been decrypted by a collaborative effort from law enforcement agencies. Adding to the list of vulnerabilities, hackers have been seen exploiting flaws in Sunlogin to introduce the Sliver C2 Framework. And in official government actions, both the U.K. and U.S. have sanctioned seven Russians responsible for significant cyber threats, including the TrickBot, Ryuk, and Conti Ransomware attacks.
