Gamers should be cautious as hackers have crafted malicious Dota 2 game modes, which give unauthorized access to players’ systems. In a turn of events, Chinese Tonto Team hackers tried and failed to infiltrate the systems of cybersecurity firm Group-IB for the second time. Another emerging threat is the Screenshotter tool, which hackers are deploying to monitor the desktop activities of companies in the U.S. and Germany. Furthermore, the cybersecurity community has detected a significant AdSense fraud campaign; over 10,000 WordPress sites have fallen victim to this malware. Lastly, Apple users are urged to update their devices immediately, as a new zero-day flaw targeting iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Safari has been discovered and is currently being exploited.
